Shower Screens: A shower screen or shower door is a device, usually clear glass or plastic, designed to cover and close off the shower area in a shower enclosure (bathtub/shower combination), shower stall, bathtub/shower combination shower-only units and fully tiled shower areas. They are installed for convenience as well as to keep water from escaping into other parts of the bathroom such as flooring and carpeting.

LS Shower Screen is the place to go for all your shower panel needs. We have our own production and supply chain, so we can ensure customer satisfaction with every product that leaves these doors! If you don’t know what kind of screen will work best in a given situation, just let us help — it’ll be less hassle on both ends than if one side was guessing blindly at options without any knowledge or experience relevant to them whatsoever- plus not only do they get something better suited their specific space — but also time saved because there’s no need waste energy trying out things before buying (or doing more research after the fact). With shower screens there are three main panel types, each of which is suited to different shower space applications. We’ll cover the differences in these very quickly — and then give you a few tips on how to know what shower screen will be best for your shower situation!

Flat Panel Shower Screen: This type of shower screen is ideal for smaller shower areas or shower spaces that need panels that are more compact. The flat panel design doesn’t take up much room and can even be installed into corners easily (with some minor modifications). Flat panels also don’t require shower track over-hang heights over 70mm high. So, if your shower space has limited height this might just be the option for you! Another feature of flat panels is that they can be made from a variety of materials such as steel, aluminium and uPVC.

Sliding Shower Screen: An effective shower screen option for shower spaces with no shower track or shower tracks that create an over-hang height (in the centre) lower than the required 70mm+ (centre). Sliding shower screens also work well in both corner and freestanding showers — and even between two shower areas if need be! They’re great because you can pull them out to clean behind and open up your shower area allowing more light through. You can also store other shower products or bath mats on the bottom shelf space as well as anywhere else you’d like to place items.

Roller shower screens: An effective shower screen option for shower areas with shower tracks that have a low shower track height (or over-hang) and don’t require the use of a shower mirror. Roller shower screens are ideal in both corner and freestanding showers due to their simple operation. They roll back along the shower track when not in use — making them very easy to open and close.

Roller Screens also come in glass options for bathrooms where extra strength is required in the shower area (for example, able to take more weight). These types of roller screens can only be accessed when they are fully rolled out.
